Bridgeport resident Daisha Haynes was taken into custody by members of the Ansonia Police Department on Thursday, April 11, for an arrest warrant that had been issued by the Wilton Police Department dating back to last year.
According to police, the arrest warrant was issued last year, when Haynes was 20, after she allegedly stole mail that contained a check from a Wilton resident’s mailbox.
Police said that Haynes was transported to the Wilton Police Headquarters, where she was charged with larceny. She was released on $500 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Norwalk on Tuesday, April 23 to respond to the charge.
